ABOUT ME

I began my counselling and psychotherapy training in 2016, completing first a Level 4 Certificate in Counselling Skills and then a Masters in Counselling & Psychotherapy at the University of the West of England. Originally trained as a teacher, I worked in primary and secondary schools in London but later switched into wellbeing and support roles where my real interest lay. I now work in private practice in Bristol and online alongside supporting adults and young people in Further and Higher Education.

Originally from north-east London, I grew up in an environment where adult trauma, loss, and addiction, shaped my mental health journey. Having found help through therapy to process my experiences, they now inform many aspects of my practice.

I am creative and use art, stitch, and writing to support my own wellbeing. I enjoy supporting other creatives and have worked extensively as a mentor to art, media, and performing arts students.

I support the Bristol-based charity Nacoa (https://nacoa.org.uk/) and welcome enquiries from young people and adults impacted by parents who are, or were alcohol dependent.
